7.2 Address Verification - Service Address Geocoding

 
Service Address Geocoding is a required prior to proceeding to Section 7.3 Importing Territory Data into PIVOT
 
1. With your Secure Login credentials, log into https://www.prospivot.com/login
 
 
 
2. Home Screen
 
 
3. From the Home screen, select Territory Management – Address Verification – LongLat Geocoder – Address Geocoder
 
 
 
4. Select the Blue Upload File Icon
 
 
 
5. Select your Black and White .csv file
 
 
6. Starting with the Column 1 dropdown window, link top Pivot Columns with the appropriate Data Columns on bottom row
Please note that you will have columns present in your data that are not required for PIVOT, ignore
those and move on to the next column. Some examples of columns you will ignore:
 
 
7. With all appropriate Columns linked, select the Blue GeoCode Address button
 
 
 
 
8. Using the blue Download and Export Errors icons, download Geocoded file and Error Export File.
 
 
9. Open and Save files
a. Save and Open File labeled Addr_Geo_Converted_Error.csv to the Territory folder you created in Section 1.
b. Save File labeled address_geocoderxxxxxxxxx to the Territory folder you created in Section 1.
c. Open Addr_Geo_Converted_Error.csv file, verify if Errors are present, if present save and forward to administration to make corrections in e-Automete data base.
d. These corrections will be not be reflected in this upload. Continue to Section 7.3 Import Territory Data
e. If error file is blank, disregard Error file
 
 
 
10. This will now be the Black and White Geocoded Territory file used during the Import process in 7.3.
