11.1a Mgr/Tech Expectation Setting

 
 
 
Expectation Settings Overview Video
 
 
In this section we will be developing Field Service Expectation for Technicians and Managers
 
 
1.Select Service Tab - Expectations Setting/Bonus - Mgr/Tech Expectations
 
 
2. Select Tech from "Select Manager or Technician Mode"
3. NOTE: All Technicians on a Managers team must have their expectations completed prior to setting a Managers expectations.
 
 
4. Select "Tech or Manager"
 
 
5. Select the Technician you want to begin the expectations setting process.
 
 
 
6. Select the last month for which you want to run the Technician expectations.
NOTE: Service Performance Data Must be loaded for the month selected
7. Once the month and year are selected you will click the button " Calculate Performance Expectations"
 
 
8. PIVOT Territory Expectation page will populate
9. PIVOT will automatically calculate Technician Performance Expectations based on the assigned territory as shown below.
10. Tech expectation can be manually over written by clicking on the pencil icon or using the sliding bars shown below.
11. Once the manager has finalized the expectations, click "Create and Save Performance Standard Setting Document" shown below
 
 
12. Here you can hit "Cancel" and proceed to the next Technician you wish to set expectations for or hit "OK" to see the historical standard settings saved.
 
13. Cancel will return you to tech selection list discussed in step 5.
 
 
14. Once all technicians have had their expectations set you will proceed to generating the reports for your Technicians to review and sign. To perform
      this task you will select Service / Expectations Setting/Bonus / Saved Performance Expectations / Technician.
 
 
 
 
 
15. Select Technician Window - Select Tech you wish to view expectation for
 
 
 
 
 
 
16. Below is an example to the report that will be generated for your technician.
 
 
 
 
17. Arrow #1 shows you where you can add additional expectations or comments the Technician will be able to see.
18. Arrow #2 allows you to save any additional expectations you have made.
19. Arrow #3 allows you to export the document to a PDF.
 
 
 
20. Below is an example of a completed Technician expectation document ready to be reviewed by the Technician and Manager and signed by both.
 
 
21. Below is the procedure to set a Managers expectations once all technicians reporting to the manager have been completed.
      The procedure is the same as for an individual technician.
22. Select "Manger" from the field "Select Manager or Technicians Mode" (Step 4)
 
 
23. Select the Manager you wish to create expectations for.
 
24. Select the last reporting month for the report.
NOTE: Service Performance Data Must be loaded for the month selected
 
 
 
24. Hit the "Calculate Performance Expectations" for the selected Manger.
 
 
25. Below is the 3 month historical performance as well as the automatically generated Manager expectations. (Note at this time Manager expectations override is not available)
 
 
 
 
 
26. As in Step #11 of this guide, you will hit "Cancel" to proceed to the next manager's expectations report or hit "OK" to generate the historical performance standard settings.
 
 
27. To create the report select the managers name from the list below.
 
 
28. Below is the 3 month historical and 90 average performance for the selected manager and the PIVOT automatically generated expectations.
 
 
 
 
29. Arrow #1 shows you where you can add additional Expectations or Comments.
30. Arrow #2 allows you to save additional Expectations or Comments.
31. Arrow #3 allows you to export the report to a PDF.
 
 
 
30. Below is the Field Manager Team Performance Expectations PDF document to be signed by the manager.
