8.11 Selecting Territories and Exporting Data to E-Automate

In this section we will describe how to export territory data from PIVOT
 
Export Tab - Exporting data to PC for viewing
 
Export to EAutomate - Creates Macro Enabled file for Auto Export from PIVOT to EA
 
8.11.a Selecting File Type and Territories
 
1. Export Type - Drop down leave as Master Data Export (Default)
 
 
 
3. Select View All Territories icon, then select desired territory(s)
4. Once desired territories are selected, click on the View All Territories icon again to close
 
 
 
5. Export Tab - Creates a Excel file for viewing data or to be saved to PC
 
 
Export To E-Automate - Export territory data from Pivot to EAuto
 
1. Export Type - Drop down leave as Master Data Export (Default)
 
 
3. Select View All Territories icon, then select desired territory(s)
4. Once desired territories are selected, click on the View All Territories icon again to close
 
 
5. Export to E-Automate Tab - Select
 
 
 
6. A popup will appear providing information regarding the import process, please review carefully then select Yes
 
 
7. A CSV files with Macros will be created ussually appearing in the lower left corner of your screen. This file will also be created in your Downloads folder on your PC.
8. Select created file to open
 
 
9. With the export file open, Select the Enable Editing icon located in the upper yellow ribbon
 
 
10. Then select the Enable Content to enable Macros
 
 
11. A Popup window will appear for you to enter your SQL Server login credentials, Server and Database
Note: if window does not appear, check for Popup Blocker on your browser
 
 
 
12. Once Logged into the SQL, select the Red Update icon on your CSV File. The file will begin auto upload into EAuto
13. Be aware of changes to the Status
a. OK - Successful Update to EAuto
b. Error - Failure to make changes to EAuto
14. Error Messages
a. Tech ID does not exist - Verify that the tech ID in PIVOT matches with what is in EAuto
b. Territory Name Does Not Match -  Verify that the Territory Name in PIVOT matches with what is in EAuto
